The Dark Knight (2008)

Part two if this saga did not disappoint! At this point I have decided that Batman truly is the best comic character. He is a man with a crazy cool and inventive costume, awesome weapons, and super cool rides! However he is still growling and wearing a mouthpiece I think, I'm so confused! In this movie Maggie Gyllenhaal plays the love interest, the one Katie Holmes played in the first one, (Rachel Dawes), and is far more compatible by a long shot. Nothing stands out more in this movie than the Joker played by Heath Ledger. The movie could have been called 'The Joker'. It truly was his lifetime performance (other than Brokeback Mountain). He brings so much life and depth to each scene he is in that you almost love to hate him but then you love him again. I almost wished for a back story on that character. New characters unravel in this film but no one too exciting, according to me. Again this one has great action sequences and aerial shots. This one is my favorite of all three of the films, hint hint.
